Cue "Pomp and Circumstance"

Welcome back my couch potatoes. I stand before you, virtually in my cap and gown with my cords around my neck, looking like a rainbow. I'm about to graduate, but it still doesn't feel like it. You know that feeling like something's coming, but it doesn't actually feel like it's coming? I've had this feeling a lot in the past, and sometimes, something pops up so that event I was looking forward to actually never comes. That's how I was about this entire year. Like I feel like my Senior year wasn't going to be real. It was, just not how I expected it. I felt like my last closing night where I was supposed to cry, give my speech, receive a poster was never going to happen, and it didn't. I never actually pictured myself at Senior prom. I never saw myself receiving my cords. I never saw my self walking up in my cap and gown to receive my diploma. If these things were real, I would be crying because I don't like change.

Although people have been making my adjusted Senior Year better. I can tell who my real friends are and what to expect at college. I still wish I was able to do the things that my older siblings did their Senior year. I had a mental Senior Year bucket list and I hope I could do some of those things before I go to college. That would be a summer to remember. This still is a memorable Senior Year. Definitely a different story to tell my kids one day. And to be honest, if the whole distance learning didn't happen, it definitely would've been harder to say goodbye to so many people because I feel like I will never see them again. I'm not very good at staying in touch with people so I know for many, goodbye means goodbye and not "see you during break".
High School Musical 3 Makes Zac Efron Tear Up
For this post, I decided to make a playlist of goodbye/graduation songs. Some of these songs are tear-jerkers for me. Some just feel like a something is coming to an end. And a lot of these songs make me imagine saying good bye to people; reminiscing about the past and just feels like an end of an era. So here we go...

"Somewhere Over the Rainbow" by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole

I never understood why this song was played at my 5th grade moving up ceremony. It didn't give me a graduation feel but it when with our Luau theme lol. I listened to it just now for the lyrics because there's so many different versions of this song and I did feel like crying. I think it's because this was one of the first real big changes in my life that I could understand. I was going to meet new people and lose some friends. Any major changes when I was younger were things my mind could wrap around. This was one of the first major changes for me. It was also a simpler time back then, when everyone was innocent. As for the lyrics, I actually could see it being a goodbye song because it talks about wanting to be in a better place and the singer feels that in the future that they will. So this is a happier good bye song.

"One Last Dance" by R5

A couple years ago, my sisters were obsessed with R5 so I basically know all of their songs and some of them stuck with me. This was one of them. This was one of those songs where I just pictured a moment in time. I pictured me slow dancing with my high school sweetheart at prom. Having a relationship in high school I thought a lot about in the future (because I'm also a cheesy and hopeless romantic) but I couldn't actually picture what happened right after high school. I didn't know if we were going to make it through college and this song gave me that feeling of living in the moment and not to worry about the future. I don't have to worry about that anymore because I don't have a high school sweetheart lol. But I do feel this a lot with friends. With going to college, I don't know if I'm stilling going to be close with all of my friends or if they will simply stay as friends of high school.

"Graduation" by Juice WRLD

A bop. Idk what they lyrics are but Graduation is the title and it's song I like to jam to. (I'm not a huge rap fan but my Juice WRLD kinda grew on me thanks to my friend). And a warning, like all other rap music (basically) there is inappropriate language in this song.

"We Are Young" by FUN feat. Janelle Monáe

This is a great living in the moment song. Not so much a good bye song but it kinda passes a grad song... at least for me it does because it reflects all the fun you had (haha get it?) with friends.

"See You Again" by Wiz Khalifa feat. Charlie Puth

I don't really have much to say about this song. Honestly, it's another bop. Looking through the lyrics though, it shows an appreciation of friends, reflecting a chapter in their life and moving on together. Plus, Charlie Puth is AMAZING. Def on the list.

"I Lived" by One Republic

This song recognizes all you have accomplished. It reflects on the good times and bad times and honestly, it could apply to life, but high school has been our life for 4 years so it counts. I definitely had so many good times, so many bad times, and so many accomplishments, but no regrets. Although I am one of those people who only ever looks at the bad thing about myself, I did enjoy my high school career. Of course, there are things I wish would've never happened, but it's out of my control and the last 4 years wouldn't be what it was with out it. Like this pandemic, I wished it didn't happen, but I wouldn't really want it to change what has happened in the last couple of months.

"The Nights" by AVICII

I think we've all seen the endless TikToks last year where everyone used this song to show their high school memories. Or even to show how people are scared of what goes past high school or people crying whether it be tears of joy and/or sadness. This song is a great song to jam to but I feel like really reflects the vibe of the young teen life. Making the most of the years when you're young. Your memories should be ones worth remembering. Although it doesn't say it in the lyrics, this song gives me the YOLO vibe where I feel like I should do that stupid thing. Honestly you should because it's easier to get out of stuff when you are under 18... I mean what. Oh and sometimes it's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission... I mean whaaaatttt.

"The Climb" by Miley Cyrus

An oldie, but a goodie. Especially for me, this song really hits my close to the heart. As a musician, you are constantly told by people that you are not good enough. For me, I felt this with a teacher from school... not fun. But this song reminds me that in order to reach my goal I have to continue to work hard, even if I'm not always rewarded for that hard work. For me, this teacher has made me push myself harder because I really wanted to prove them wrong, and I did by getting into Berklee College of Music, one of the most prestigious music schools on the East Coast. Although I did not appreciate this teacher's attitude towards me, I definitely would not have accomplished all that I have with out them. But this doesn't apply just to music for me, this is my whole high school career and I bet for some of you too. Fall outs with friends, break ups, tests, teachers, grades, clubs, sports, some of these terrible things that seems so small to other people will be huge for you. They shape you into who you are and get you where you need to be. I'm appreciative of all the terrible stuff (can't curse lol) that high school has put me through along with the good because I reached one of my goals.

"Some Things Are Meant to Be" from Little Women

I already know that this is not really a song many people might know because it's from a musical. However some of you might've read the book or seen the movie (with the gorgeous Timothee Chalamet😍). It's long but y'all need to see the movie. It's really a great story about four sisters and the protagonist Jo, is a real woman of power. Let me get back to the song, for me this song has another special place in my heart. It had the potential of being my first amazing performance at a recital but I actually failed lol. But I was given another opportunity to perform this song again at a voice competition, and that was my real first successful performance. Whenever I sing this song, I think of  my past romantic relationship with you-know-who (and if you don't know then I don't think you've been paying attention in class). I think about all the amazing memories we had in the beginning and just reminisce. By the end of the song, I remember that I have to let it all go, everything including him. There were moments that I was happy it happened and I could let go, but there were other moments where I wish I didn't have to let him go. It was the same for Jo.

SPOILER ALERT: This song is a duet between Jo and her younger sister Meg. Meg is very sick and ends up dying at the end of the song and Jo has trouble letting go, but Meg is ready. Sometimes I'm Meg, sometimes I'm Jo haha.

This song reminds me to be happy that it happened and let go. So the fact that I'm leaving so many friends and may never get to see them again, or the fact that my high school career is coming to an end is something I have to let go. Remember them, but be happy it happened and move on.

"Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)" by Green Day

This is def the top grad/goodbye song. It's universal. Across the board. If you don't think so, then there's something wrong with you. Or you just never heard it before and you need to stop reading at this moment and click here to listen and watch the music video. It's short but it perfectly reflects the end of a chapter. The music itself gives you the feeling that something is coming to an end and that you just want to look back on your time. The lyrics perfectly captures the idea of not knowing what is going to happen in the future and appreciating the past and wanting to forward. Honestly, my words don't describe how good this song is so just click on the link and listen to it.

There are so many songs that I wanted to list but this post would be too long. Some times you just have to let go and say good bye; know when to move on. It's that time couch potatoes. I didn't know if I wanted to keep my blog going after this class was over but after thinking about it, as much as I would like to, I know I won't. I don't want to give any of you guys false hope. If I do end up writing again though, I'll let you know. But for now, I'm going to say goodbye. Thank you all for watching me (more like reading but... whatever) as a writer and it definitely was a pleasure watching all of you grow as well. I appreciate letting you guys share your work with me. As for this blog, it definitely was fun to relax and write about whatever I wanted to. Thank you to you, my loyal audience for sticking around. I do apologize however that I did not write more posts for musical theatre, but I know that many of you have enjoyed reading my blog.

It is time.

TV Show Match Up

Welcome back my couch potatoes! I hope your quarantine is getting better since it's getting warmer and school is coming to a close. I hope that for most and if not all of you that your workload is starting to lift. For me, not so much. I have 10+ assignments due through the next two weeks, half of them being due this Friday, but I'm given a lot of time so I'm trying to shoot it all out park. However, I am failing miserably. Doing work 24/7 but nothing is done. Plus, I have to do a bunch of college stuff for next year. UUUGGHHHHHHHH

Also, Governor Murphy has also allowed gatherings up to 25 people with wearing a mask and practicing social distancing of course. Although he is permitting this, I think that it is important to note that you shouldn't be doing this everyday because the bell curve can shoot right back up. I'm sure all of you want to have an amazing summer with friends, and believe me I do too. However, I much rather want to go to school and learn in person from my teachers in the fall.

I'm sure that most of you have things you want to do, which I have mentioned in previous blogs since quarantine has started. My little sister has been making friendship bracelets and other arty things and my older sister has been working our more. As for me, I've been sleeping, working out, composing ("New, Some Type of Way") and of course: watching TV. In fact, everyone in my family have catching up on their shows or starting new ones. It's funny because we don't watch them together as a family. It's more like someone's watching their show and the rest of the fam just happens to be there. I don't know how there's enough time for each of us to watch on that much TV lol.

If you guys know my siblings and I, you know that we are different for the most part with a few overlapping traits. (If you want to see which sibling you are, take the Buzzfeed quiz that we made lol.) It's the same with TV shows. Our tastes are different with a few over lapping shows. We usually watch the same show when one of us is watching it in the living room and the others become invested that they watch it from the beginning themselves. That's how I started watching Gilmore Girls and Hollywood. Or if it's really popular then we'll all watch it eventually.

But I wanted to make this post about our different tastes and get some insight of why they like it. First I'm going to say what their type of TV shows are based on what they watch. Then, interview them. Ask them what makes the perfect TV show; which one is their favorite of all time; what they are currently watching, etc, etc.

Big Bro (Mark):

I really can't pinpoint him but it kind of seems like he likes shows of comedy, nonsense, and just straight up weird/absurd/disturbing/awkward. They give me like MAD from Cartoon Network vibes. I don't really know how to describe it. I also know he likes more mature shows, so if you think about watching any of these, know that they are most likely for mature audiences. From his list he enjoys classic comedies like The Office and then there are others like Big Mouth, BoJack Horseman, Disenchantment which give me the Cartoon Network vibes. But he also enjoys TV shows where they episodes are not really connected and each episode is a short story like Love Death and Robots and Midnight Gospel. He also enjoys Anime, which I'm not really a fan of unless it's Avatar: The Last Airbender or Pokemon, but this is about Mark.
Sad Bojack Horseman GIF - Find & Share on GIPHY
Lastly, I want to add in that along with these kinds of shows, he enjoys stand up comedians so all around, he just wants a good laugh.

His favorite TV show is Rick and Morty because of the humor in the show and currently not watching anything at the moment. (He just finished Avatar.)

Big Sis (Maggie):

Honestly, she is why I am writing this post. She just recently started watching Criminal Minds and I told her "Wow, you really have a type when it comes to TV shows." She got confused, but I'm going to explain it here. Maggie likes either crime shows or mystery with action and/or drama shows. Definitely something that keeps her thinking, guessing, and requires her to be observant... or to guess randomly and hope she is right. She likes to be invested, but not emotionally, and keeps her engage to keep watching. I know that the show would be even better with there was a bigger mystery or case that goes on for the whole season, keeping the episodes connected. These shows include Sherlock Holmes, Dexter, and Pretty Little Liars. But still, she will enjoy a show that are more heartfelt like Gilmore Girls or something with more drama like Gossip Girl. But I definitely think she likes the criminal stuff lol.
dexter morgan | Tumblr
Also, Maggie prefers to watch Movies when she has to get work done because she can just watch it and not be tempted to watch another episode. Well that's what she gets for watching shows like PLL.

Her favorite TV show is The Good Place (that's really surprising to me) because the show is more philosophical based and has different perspectives on death that's non religious. She is currently watching Criminal Minds and The Flash (catching up on season 6 lol).

Lil' Sis (Missy):

This is tough because I never really see her watching TV. She's usually doing school work, reading, or something that sounds productive because it doesn't involve sitting on your butt and watching TV. Or she's watching it in our room which she's always in, which is the reason I'm never in it. In other words, I don't really know what she does when I'm not with her. Yeah, since she's the youngest, she's the last person the remote goes to. I find it weird when she is watching something by herself on the TV in our living room. But when she does get it, she would binge watch it. Like she'd finish a season with a show that has hour long episodes in one day. Idk man.

But anyway, Lil' Sis enjoys the teenage drama. Or really any drama in general. And it would make it better if the show has VERY attractive people. Like Timothee Chalamet attractive. Therefore, she would probably like any show from CW that isn't connecting with the Arrowverse.
Timothee GIFs | Tenor
I'm sorry but I had to include this

I mean, it makes sense why she binge watches shows like, Outer Banks and Dynasty: the drama keeps her hooked and wanting more. She also probably watches these shows because it's very popular with our peers right now. I know that I'm not really sure what other shows she has watched because I never see her watching anything, but I think she definitely, if she hasn't already, enjoy, or at least watch All-American. I do know, however, that Lil' Sis enjoys watching a lot of teenage romance movies like Spectacular Now and To All the Boys I Loved Before. Or any movie that was a book before which are usually teen ficition, aka a book with a teenage romance.

Her favorite show is Outer Banks (which I suspected) because it's suspenseful, dramatic, and the teens are living an adventurous life, unlike us today, constantly on our phones. She is currently watching How I Met Your Mother and Hollywood.

Parents:

Filipino shows. That's it, that's all they watch. Filipino TV shows, telanovellas, movies, and when I was younger, game shows. Sometimes if they find a drama filled show that us hip kids like, they would watch it, but almost every night, my parents watch a filipino film on their list. When they saw Crazy Rich Asians my parents were like, "okay, everybody is watching this." It's funny because my parents always fall asleep watching it. To add, my dad likes to watch the The Price is Right at exactly 11 am everyday just to be interrupted by the news. My mom doesn't watch TV so much since she has a lot to do and usually uses her free time to nap but she really enjoys anything. The best thing is, whether my mom enjoys a show or not, watching her reactions are as good as watching what's on the screen. It can get annoying at times but still hilarious. Most of the time, when "we" are watching Big Sis's crime shows, my mom screamed so loud that we'll get scared from her scream because it's so loud and not from the actual show.

Me:

I don't really know how to pinpoint my type. I feel that I especially enjoy comedies with some drama. I enjoy the classics like Friends, That's 70's Show, and The Office, but I also enjoy something like Glee. I definitely find myself watching comedies more because the episodes are shorter so I could use them as my break from school work. But I do enjoy drama, action and anything that's really heartfelt, like something that I can really connect to. So basically a mix. Shows like How I Met Your Mother, The Flash, Young and Hungry and Insatiable (kind of questionable but I still would watch it if another season came out lol). When I was younger, I was obsessed with Ned's Declassified: School Survival Guide. I still use some of his tips like have the closest seat to the door (think about where I sit in Creative Writing... I love you guys but the next class is an AP class and if there's a test, you will see me skrrting the halls).

The episodes definitely have to be connected with an over arching plot over the entire season otherwise it would be hard to get through. When school is over, you know I will be hogging the TV watching more drama shows since I will have more time and won't feel like I have to do work. Let me know in the comments what shows you think I should watch!

For me, my all time favorite show is Boy Meets World. It's funny and something I connect with. From the comedic relationship between Eric and Mr. Feeny; to the friendship of Shawn and Cory; to the romantic journey of Cory and Topanga, the show has everything but the cool action stuff that The Flash provides for me lol. I currently finished watching Parks and Recreation and started Never Have I Ever
Feeny GIFs | Tenor
For me, I def prefer TV shows over movies because if I were to watch a movie, I would have to watch it in one sitting or I won't ever be able to push myself to go back and finish it.

There you have it! If you find yourself like one of my siblings or me, check out the other shows I haven't mentioned that we've watched on Netflix and add them to your list:

Return of the Blog

Welcome back my couch padawans... yes you are no longer potatoes for this blog post. And my the force be with you hehe. Today (or at least when I started writing this) is May 4th (and also a B-day for school so that worked out) so I thought why not create a Star Wars post? Plus, this quarantine got me watching 3 Star Wars movies a night. Yeah, I messed up my sleeping schedule real bad but it's okay I've been staying on top of my work.
Attack Of The Clones Jedi GIF by Star Wars - Find & Share on GIPHY
Before we jump into things there are a few things I would like to say. As you all know, as of May 4th, Gov. Murphy has announced that school will remain closed for the rest of this academic school year. That really hit me. I was really looking forward to these last two months of school ever since I was a freshman. And in the beginning of this school year I have continue to work hard and have been telling myself "keep pushing until the musical is over and you get to have the Senior experience you've always wanted". I remember my brother going to Applebee's every Friday with his friends his Senior year, and I was really hoping to do something similar. I never got to have my closing night, I never got to give some words of wisdom to my cast mates. I never got to hang out with that friend that I said, "we can hang out when the musical is over". And to all of my other Seniors, especially those in clubs and organizations such as ICC, Erase, world language Honor Society, or NHS, I am so sorry that you don't get to put on your last show, or be recognized for your achievements in a ceremony.

But most of all, I sympathize most of all to the Seniors participating in spring sports. You never got to see what this season could have brought you. You lose your Senior night, a night to celebrate you. And you lose a chance to prove yourself and your team to the world. But most of all, you lose the your last experience with your team/family. Although I did not play much during the season in the fall, I have never felt more close, loved, and supported by a group of girls. We even got to show the world what we were made of by winning the state championship. For me, it meant so much because that was the last time I will be playing on a soccer team, and I can imagine, it is the same for many other Seniors for their spring season. I deeply sorry.

This time has really inspired me to write more music. I started a viola piece, which I started before I heard the news today, to reflect how my coronacation has been going and hopefully others as well. I have also started an a capella arrangement of "The Man Who Can't be Moved" by The Script. But besides that, all I have really done is watch a lot of TV. Mostly Star Wars... so let's jump right in shall we?

First I would like to say, I have never seen (or at least paid attention while watching) the first six movies of Star Wars. I've definitely watch Episodes V and Episode II when I was like 3 years old because those are the only DVD's I had. Then with my family I watch Episodes I, II, III and part of IV (yes we watched it in that order but it wasn't my fault; my dad wanted to watch it like that) when I was in like 8th grade, but I wasn't really paying attention because I was always on my phone. I mean, I do hae some background because I was obsessed with the Lego Star Wars DS game but like, that was 1st grade. I wasn't paying attention to the story. I just wanted to destroy Lego Storm Troopers and battle droids with a light saber.
Best Lego Star Wars Gameplay GIFs | Gfycat
But this time, I actually watched all 6 in the correct order in one weekend. I do recommend watching the movies in the order of the release date because they were created and released in that order for a reason, but also the effects of the three sets of movie has such a drastic change that it hurt my head from watching the first three episodes, (released in the late 90's early 00's) to episodes IV-VI (released in late 70's early 80's).

So you're probably thinking, Meg, what is this post actually about. To be honest, I don't really know, I just kept typing. But since this was my first time watching Star Wars and actually try to process what's going on, here are a few thought that I had when I was watching the movie. These are the thoughts the kind of thoughts I normally have when I watch a movie or TV show. I usually say them out loud depending who I am watching with or if I am alone, but this was late at night when I was alone in the living room so I was snapping one of my Star Wars nerd friend my commentary. He thought it was amusing so I hope you do too.

However, I realized that this blog would probably be WAY too long if I just did that and probably would make no sense. I lowkey wish that I could just rewrite everything I thought of when I watch them but that's illogical. Therefore, I'm going to give a summary of my thoughts of episodes IV-VI. If you would like me to do another blog like this in the future let me know in the comments :)

Let's get STARTED!!!!!

SPOILER ALERT!

General things about the movies.

I'm not going to lie, I know those things move slow but I feel like that I don't have enough time to process what I am reading, so I go back to read it but then the words start to get smaller and smaller so I just don't really understand what is going on. lol Also, not gonna lie, some of these ships look better in lego form.

Episode IV: A New Hope

I have to start off with the droids.  CP30 is like a "mom" of a friend group. Nags too much, doesn't want to take risks, and does what they are told. But he's also a push over because he basically follows R2 everywhere. I was instantly attached to the two and they have great chemistry. But when Uncle Owen chooses the red R2 instead of the actual R2 and CP30. You can't break the bromance :( but then when the red one blows up I feel like R2 definitely had something to do with it.
Excerpt: STAR WARS PSYCHOLOGY (Sterling) | Civilian Reader
There is also a lot of great science stuff that isn't just aliens and droids in this movie. Like the advancement in the technology. I def thought "Okay, Luke, what ever your flying it definitely has something to do with magnetism or Coulomb's law by the way it hovers over the ground. (Meghan, this is a fiction movie) still."

Now Ben Kenobi. Obi-Wan Kenobi. Kenobi is not a common name. I'm pretty sure they are related, Luke. But anyway, I didn't feel super attached to him. However, in this movie Obi explains the force so well. Like I feel like if you watch episodes I-III first it would be harder to grasp the concept of the force. Also a direct thought I had when Obi died:

"NO!!!! Wait he just disappears. So did he die? Like maybe he just transported somewhere. Can you do that with the force? And Luke. You dumdum. Just get on the ship. The troopers weren't even looking at you until you yelled. Also, it kinda seems like Obi also gave up though. So like it def seems like he could've just transported."

Last thing I want to say is... Jabba isn't a human being... I'm confuzzled as to why you say he's a human, Han Solo?
Episode 4 Look Jabba Even I Get Boarded Sometimes GIF by Star Wars ...

Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back

I don't remember what planet they're on but the opening scene, I didn't get that I was Luke lol. I also feel like that it was a random planet but not random at the same time. And the when the yeti came, idk felt too fantastical to me. I think they should've found another reason that he stayed in the cold to hallucinate like he actually went to check the "meter"

Let's move on from that. Han and Leia. Girl, denying your feelings only for them to get stronger. We all know they're going to end up together one way or another. And can I just say... I have a little bit of background on this franchise as I said before and Leia kissing Luke to make Han jealous is disturbing. asjdfsadkjfewi
yoda gifs Page 4 | WiffleGif
When Luke goes to train to be a Jedi with Yoda I was very happy. He definitely needs it because he's very immature... in general lol. But watching Luke train was so frustrating. Like Luke, be patient MY GOODNESS. There were moments when I was like "Yeah, Yoda, just stop training him. He's too old."And he proved my point with the cave and going to help his friends. Like if he just listened to Yoda, his friends would be fine and he would complete his training. Ugh. Like bro, they got Chewy, they can fend for themselves.

On Cloud City, I think that writers did a good job with Lando's character. It was difficult to tell if we could trust him or not. So I hated him at first then I liked him. That's hard to pull off. And poor Han being carbonated or whatever it's called. But dude, a girl tells you she loves you, don't let your possible last words be "I know". Jerk.

And of course! Luke goes to Cloud City and who does he encounter??? Darth Vader. And is he ready??? Of course not you impatient child! I wasn't shocked about the result of their battle because that is the one thing I remember very vividly in the Lego game lol. But the thing with Luke going into Leia's head with the force. That was cool. Can he do that with anyone or only Leia though?????

Episode VI: The Return of the Jedi

The first part of this movie made me really uncomfortable not gonna lie. Like Jabba the Hutt is EXTREMELY creepy and like the place he runs... my goodness. In my opinion, not really kid friendly. In my opinion, I feel like that the saving of Han was drawn out way to much but I do have to say that the fighting scene at the end was entertaining to watch.

Luke going back to Yoda to complete his training made me happy. He kept his promise from the last movie, plus, I love Yoda. I mean... who doesn't? So I definitely cried when Yoda dies. This is when I realized that Obi disappearing was him actually dying. I had no idea. I asked my friend why their body vanishes when they die and he said it's because they become one with the force... or at least that's what I think he said. At this point, I am also mad at Luke for not staying to spend more time with Yoda. If he completed his training with Yoda, then Yoda would've had more screen time.

Luke returns to the rendezvous and the Rebels are planning attack. Honestly, why do people like Luke, in my opinion, he is dumb and immature. Luke says he's going to go with Han and Leia to take down the shield, which is near the Death Star and where the Sith Lord and Darth Vader is. LUKE ARE YOU DUMB???? DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND THE FORCE??? I haven't really understood much with these movies, but I do understand that Darth Vader can sense you when you are nearby. YOU ARE JUST GOING TO PUT EVERYONE IN DANGER! HAVE YOU NOT LEARNED YOUR LESSON????

But still he goes. So I watched all of the movies with close captions and Idk if they are actually Wookies but those little things are so cute. Like they're feisty, little, and cute... like me... sometimes. And the fact that they helped the Rebels to attack the storm troopers during the battle with their non-advanced weapons makes them even cuter to me. They're like teddy bears.

Okay, I'm gonna kinda skip ahead to when Luke faces the Sith Lord. Actually, it's more like Luke is vulnerable to the Sith Lord because yes Luke is not strong enough to face the Sith Lord, he's barely strong enough to face Darth Vader (or so I thought). Honestly, I rather have Luke die (which wouldn't make sense with the title but just let Meg be Meg) than have Darth Vader shove the Sith Lord off the balcony... down the hole... push him so he falls for a long time and eventually dies. I personally thought that was bad characterization to have Darth Vader do the right think (at least at this point in the franchise) because it seems like Darth Vader just cares about power and himself. Sure, he wants to be with Luke, but I feel like it was for selfish reasons and not for the sake of Luke. Idk, that's my opinion at that point.

And there you have it, my thoughts in a more formal setting I would say. Of course these are just opinions so let me know what you think in the comments and also tell me if you would like me to do another post like this.

Stay safe everyone! May the Force be with you. Until next time, look, listen, and lay low.
